Bead like crazy class!

Would you like to learn how to embellish your crazy quilt block or other fabric pieces with beads?

If so, join instructor Carrye Kearns to learn to replicate many of those beautiful Victorian crazy quilt stitches with beads.You will also learn how to cage a cabochon/button, make beaded fringe and a cluster of grapes. No experience is necessary. All techniques are surprisingly easy to do.
Carrye is an experienced teacher and has taught at local quilt shops, her studio at the Pendleton Art Center and at the Berea Arts Center in Berea, KY.

Class Schedule: Saturday, September 18th OR Monday, September 20th.Hours: 9am til 3pm with a half hour or so break for lunch - bring your own lunch - a refrigerator is available.Fee: $40 - includes all supplies and a handout for reference in the future.

Supplies include: Beading needle and thread, beads, crazy quilt block (off-white varied fabrics), beading mat, tissue paper, Pigma pens, pins, and scissors.If you wish, you are invited to bring your own crazy quilt block, other quilt block or garment on which you would like to add bead embellishments.If you like to use an Ott Light, please feel free to bring it with you.
